Hosting and delivery
This website is provided through Amazon Web Services (AWS), in particular Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront. Static files are stored in the AWS US East (Northern Virginia) region; CloudFront uses delivery servers around the world. Technically necessary connection data, such as IP address, request time, requested resource and browser information, is processed to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Logs and analytics
CloudFront access logs, S3 server access logs and analytics tools are not enabled for this website. We do not create visitor profiles. AWS may process technically necessary operational and security data as part of its hosting service.
Processing outside the EEA
AWS delivery may involve processing connection data outside the European Economic Area. Under the AWS contractual terms, transfers to countries without an EU adequacy decision are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as part of the AWS Data Processing Addendum. Email enquiries
There is no contact form. Email links open your own email application; we receive information only when you send a message. We process it to handle your enquiry or take pre-contractual or contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or for other enquiries based on our legitimate interest in communication (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Language preference
Only when you select DE or EN does the site store your choice in the functional “lang” cookie for up to 180 days. It contains only “de” or “en”, not an identifier. It serves your requested language function. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. You can delete it in your browser. Without a stored choice, the homepage uses your preferred browser language, otherwise English.
External links
External web pages are not embedded. Your browser connects to a third-party provider only when you open the corresponding link. That provider’s privacy information then applies.
Retention and recipients
Enquiry data is retained only as long as needed to respond or meet statutory retention obligations. AWS acts as a technical service provider under the AWS Data Processing Addendum. Enquiry data is not used for advertising without an appropriate legal basis.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation.
