Singapore's M1 gives you 12GB 4G/LTE data when switching from old 3G plans

One of Singapore's leading mobile carriers, just announced the following: M1 gives 3G users with big data plans free upgrade to 4G

Particularly, this means:

M1 customers who are still holding on to their old 3G plans with the generous 12GB mobile data allowance are in for a treat.

The telco has upgraded them to its 4G network at no extra charge.

That sounds like a really great deal. If you're in Singapore, you might among the lucky ones who got upgraded.
